I have always looked forward to meet some one from Kolkata and missed a connection with Alma matter, specially when I saw a reunion function of any other institute, I sorely felt a need for a link with St. Xavier’s Calcutta, my college. In January 2006, when I visited Kolkata and met Rev. Father Mathew, Imran Bhai, Manoj Jain and other member of our Alumni Association and placed the idea before them, there was immediate support but with skepticism that are there enough xaverians in Mumbai?
